I'm new to graff as a whole, or at least tagging and stuff. I made a mop from an old kiwi bottle and used some acrylic paint and rubbing alcohol as ink, I've refilled and mixed it with a few colors and it works pretty well but the point is, if you're broke and dont wanna get like 10$ in ink pens get some acrylic paint and a thinner of choice. Works pretty great

part of the fun of graffiti is figuring out how to make your own pens mops and everything. ive made mops from glue sticks , bingo dabbers and shoe polish bottles and made solid paint sticks from ink mixed with candlewax poured into an empty glue stick.

I discovered a nice marker hack!!! If you don’t want to buy a marker a sanitiser bottle, emptied then filled with ink. You can put some wool or something as a nib. It closes AND it has two sizes

would just like to point out, its brake fluid dot3 and i wouldnt recommend it it makes it stain more but if you leave the gravey in your mop/pen if its plastic it will eat through it

If u want a real staining ink you should get like 20-30 pens and cut them up and add some type alcohol

Pour the ink into a sauce bottle like with the nozzle . (The one ya stab into pies ) And then it's easier to squirt it into smaller sized pens like artline or sharpie .

I did this for my homemade mop (made out of a deodorant) and added some black acrylic paint and honestly it looks better that way! its darker and less drippy.

I would a shot of whiskey to get the sugar contents of the whiskey mixed with the ink to thicken and stick.. curious how that would end up with different ratios

Nice, anyway i figured out how to do it meanwhile, I went to my local arts store and they had a sale, I bought a “jar” of pen ink “50g” which is a nice little bottle of ink for 1.50$, and it’s to stiff, so I might add alcohol to it to make it runnier and not to dry out, who knows how that will turn out but it’s worth a shot, anyway any suggestions on alcohol? Not brand mostly what type is the best

Yo im prob late but just wondering whats wrong with my ink. So i got 90 pens not bic just some random ass pens cut them up into 2 bits and removed the white part where there isnt ink then added isorpropyl 99.9% alcohol I then bought dot 4 brake fluid and I am pretty sure I added too much i added like 2 caps and like more also isopropyl alcohol i went a bit over the pens and might have added too much but now when i add it into my otr 005 mop and write with it its very streaky and it like dissolves and doesnt stay in place it drips a bunch too . I have a grog squeezer 10 bpi but my bpi ink isnt done yet. so what you think is wrong with my ink?
