Yeah, this was the good stuff, added some salt and crushed red pepper flakes for a kick, amazing crunch, nice and salty, a little spicy after taste. You really do have to feel around in there, otherwise they will come out undercooked.

In Russia and Kazakhstan, where I live, people like to make similar chips from wheat flour. They are tasty, but they have many kilocalories!

Look & sound great. I used to fry up a huge batch, when my boys were in high school. They’d have s bunch of their buddies out. I’d make a gallon of salsa & fry up 5-6 doz shells. Yep, a group of hungry high school football players 😊😉 I started tossing those chips in the oil, like dealing cards 😂. It was the fastest way I could get them in without sticking Those boys ate em faster than I could fry em For an added kick, use Tony Chachere’s. 👍👍

Those look awesome and easy to make. Think I may just have to try making these. I love them but the sodium is off the charts but this way I can regulate how much I add. I can my own salsa for the same reason. Thanks for sharing.

They cook Fast - keep an eye on them! They will come out light flavored enough for a nice sugar & cinnamon snack or maybe powdered sugar with a drizzle of chocolate syrup. However they'll will still work well for heartier stuff like chili. A fork will probably be required for the heavy stuff!

Hey papa we have gotten lazy to cook so corporations do it for us but they do everything artificially. I cook a lot of different kinds of foods and it does taste better but it takes time. I have been a lot healthier tho. I'll try those fried tortillas never done them. 👍
