Just asking....why do you build one box 8ft tall and the other 4.5ft tall.....and why do you put mesh at one side of of the entrance?

K nice question...8fts tall is jst for a baby.. and the other 4.5ft is a honey..if we build the box like this the bees will make separate upside honey n down side baby. I put mesh at one side is not to run away the queen bee becoz when ever we catch the bees Swarm n put into the box... sometime might be not comfortable new box for them...so they'll try to flee away...in order to stop I put one side mesh... after couple weeks or when bees are started bringing wax or food in they legs just open the gate n keep it free so dat they'll not distop go in n out that reason I didn't put one side...
