Here's a tip. If you want a more jiggly Jell-O consistency try looking for Agar agar powder that also has the word JELLY on the packaging. Normal agar powder sets harder, but the Jelly Agar variant sets softer.

Yeah, I grew up on the regular agar-agar jelly because of regional companies producing halal jelly, it was firm so when I first tried jello I was surprised at how fragile and delicate it was

Ah, this shezan mango juice brings a lot of memories. After drinking the juice we used throw this empty box of juice on the ground and it acts like a cracker when pressed hard with feet 😅

You can reduce that agar by half and have a closer texture to jello. Agar makes pretty hard jello.

to be honest. Agar Agar powder is a great substitute, but its nothing like real gelatin. its more crumbly and stiff in large ratios to small amounts of water, and can be sandy in texture. its also kind of difficult to measure correctly

Agar agar and gelatin are quite different things, Agar is a carbohydrate polysaccharide doesn't contain protein made from sea weeds , while gelatin is a protein made from bone marrow.
