Shift+Alt+Click -> Change modulation from unipolar to bipolar and viceversa, without going to the mod matrix

Amazing tutorial, only guy who managed to explain to me limpidly Sidechains, EQs, and Serum One thing tho, on FL STUDIO the equivalent of C1 is C3 for the Serum bassline synth... since mine was on C5 (yeah, noob right..) it took me a while to adjust all the release, cutoff and equilibrium to get the curve perfect (or to even get wtf I was doing).... anyways, this unfortunate mishap taught me more extensively I suppose Thanks the Sensei!

Try in OSC A the "Reesey Mess 5" in spactral. In the FX try out 1.EQ 2.Filter (Peak 24) 3.Distortion (Diode 1) and 4. Compressor! BLASTING TIME! :)

it can be done, but is this what you would normally do to get a kick? wouldnt you just use a sample instead? is this how you usually get your kicks or do you use samples

Hey, I know this is an old video, but i have a question which I hope you can answer. When I select macro1 in the aux source tab, the knob doesn't do anything for me. Is macro one a programmable knob that you programmed yourself beforehand? Or did I possible miss something?

No its working by default, I think in this example it is controlling the amount of modulation sent by the source, rather than applying it's value directly

@@DashGlitch Hmm, then i don't know why i don't hear any difference when i turn the knob. I deleted the serum instance and im gonna try to redo it again from scratch. maybe i messed something up. Thx for the quick response :)

@@DashGlitchIt is working now, no idea what happenend. Thx for the tutorial man. I am a beginner to producing and I just bought serum an hour ago. I knew how to make kicks with other plugins, but this is the first tutorial I stumbled upon when searching for "how to make a kick in serum". At the time, didn't even know this was a psy kick, but that is an added bonus, since I mainly want to produce raw hardstyle and psytrance haha

What do you think about Kick 2 VST? This seems way easier than to learn UVI Falcon just to achieve a kick like i need it…

QUESTION Y’ALL: Given the parameters on Serum, does this make buying “Kick 2” redundant... or a dedicated kick drum designer like Kick 2 still gonna be better. My guess (uninformed) is Kick2 would be better for me, even just for the amount of choice of presets etc. (I can’t find many really good house/techno kick presets for Serum) Would LOVE anyone’s opinion here, especially any insight/ideas that move me forward on it. AND I am VERY happy to exchange serum kick drum presets. Just hit me up. 🤙🏻

interesting. copied your settings exactly and it sound nothing like it. hardly any volume, and it doesnt hit hard like a kick at all, does not sound like the kick in this video.
