How to make kolambi rassa | कोलंबी च कालवण | Prawn curry | Village style Jhinga curry (kolambi)
Kolambi rassa/ Prawn curry/ shrimp curry
Ingredients:13-15 or ~1/2 kg prawns/kolambi/shrimp
2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powdertsp
fish masala ( Aagri masala/CKP masala/ malvani masala etc)
1/3 tsp salt or as per your taste.
1/2 cup tamarind pulp- medium consistency
1/2 cup water or as needed
5 big garlic cloves or 10 small garlic cloves (crushed)
2 Tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing)
Fresh coriander for garnishing
Tips:
Fish Malsala-if you don't have this malasa then simply mix 1/2 tsp garam masala + 1 tsp dhana (coriander powder) and use it
How to make Tamarind pulp - soak 2 tsp tamarind in 1/2 cup of water for 5 min. then squeeze the pulp.
