Welcome to my channel! This video I am going to show you how I make my own labels using my cricut explore air 2 and picmonkey software! I've had my cricut for a couple years now and I will tell you, it's intimidating to use! I didn't even know where to start. Once you get the hang of it, it's so easy to use! I wish I had been shown a video like this so I could have utilized my cricut so much sooner! I recently bought a Cricut Joy and am learning how to use the Joy app but haven’t tried design space yet so this was very helpful! When I saw the thumbnail for this video, I thought the labels were Flour, Sugar and CATS. 😂 I thought “Hmm, I wonder what kind of container she keeps her cats in.” 😂😂😂

In the drop-down on Design Space, you can find the filter and choose your font, and the fonts on your computer will come up

If you click 'weld' your words will stay in the same spot you put them, instead of them moving when you click make it. Hopefully that made sense :)

It's a very good step, But I can't choose the font that u do. Cause this PicMonkey stated UNABLE TO Lord File. Must be they block it or what. I don't know...

I believe I used permanent for this project but i wish I used temporary because I’d like to use the jars for something else now

Nothing is really permanent. You can scrape it off and use rubbing alcohol to remove any residue

I hope this is a lot faster to do when it’s not being explained because it seems like this is a pretty time consuming process just to make labels...especially if someone has to take care of a house and kids. How long would you say it took to create 3 labels?

Initially while you are learning how to do it - it takes a while but once you have the hang of it its really quite quick

LOL! Come to think of it, that may be the reason why people end up overlabeling. Still, thanks for letting me/us know!

You’ll have so much more in design space and it’s only $10/mo. It will also eliminate a lot of extra steps

Wow nice ! but does that even make sense when you can clearly see through a glass bottle and you still need a label for what's inside I mean its just isn't required you can see by your eyes I really like the idea though and "This is not a hate comment "

Buy temporary if you think you would ever want to tear it off and use the container for something else in the future

Try downloading your font from dafont.com or another site and you can access it through the design cricut space

Question: Can you wash these containers without the label falling off? Cause those stickers don't have transparent stickers over them to protect them during washing. The ones you used are transfer papers...not stickers. As such I am concerned.

If you use permanent vinyl you can wash without it coming up

It use to be free with limited access awhile ago I don’t know if it’s that way anymore. You can do a free 7 day trial I believe

Why did you do like 5 extra steps? You can download them straight from dafont onto cricut and skip the monkey step.

This is not as easy and straightforward as she makes it seem. You have to pay for PicMonkey, downloading fonts is a nightmare you have to go into settings and add then its different for Mac and Windows. Dafont is a nightmare to download fonts! Hard hard hard. Give background information on this. Not easy!
