I got the Cricut joy for simplicity more than anything and I plan on taking it with me which means I will almost exclusively be using my iPad, the program is almost identical but a little different since we can’t right click.

Hi Lorrie , I'm curious, Can you create labels that we add to our bags? The fold in half on a twill, thin thin leather or vinyl .. some type of fabric. Wouldn't that be fabulous😄 not sure if it would be cost effective or not. Maybe because I need that type of label is why I thought this was a tute for that🤭 Stay well, Always Kathleen🥰

Great video on making labels! I am making a label for a memory candle 🔥. I want to use a cursive font like Babette but don't want the font to be an outline (I would like it to be solid) any suggestions on a font or pen thickness that would accomplish this? Any help would be appreciated 🌞

Hi I followed all your steps and it was easy to do. The only trouble im having is it keeps telling me my pen is incompatible that I cannot make the label with my machine did you do anything different about that? or any recommendations on what i should do? Im using the cricut joy pen 0.4 that it came with and it wont let me go any further

I loved this tutorial as I just got the Cricut Joy and wanted to cut some labels and have printing on them. I followed this video to a T, as far as I can tell.. and when I go to "make it" it keeps giving me a message "Project incompatible This project is not supported by your current machine selection. To resolve, select OK and adjust selected layers" I 'm trying to just print them on regular cardstock using the mat so I thought maybe I made my template too big.. so sized it down.. but I still get that message! I have the "Joy" selected at the top..... can you direct me to help on this matter? I hadn't even gotten to the part where you select the type of paper or mat you are using! Thanks!

I recently got the CricutJoy is there an upgrade i have to get to be able to choose "write" under the style bar? when I click on style i don't have that option as well when i search under fonts there is no writing font options. Do I have to pay for fonts in order for this option to appear in my design space?

Hello! I'm new to the Cricut Joy and I'ven having a bit of trouble... So I have printed labels I want the Joy to cut for me but the alignment is always off and it ends up cutting through my printed labels. Does anyone know how to fix that? I tried setting my sticker paper to 4.5 x 6.5 to print (on my personal printer) and sticking that on the grip mat, saved the labels as a png/jpg, uploaded onto Design Space, but it never works....

My design center keeps saying the pen option is incompatible with circut joy. its only showing pen and foil. Im so confused lol omg

You could have used arrange or duplicate too. Did you need to select copy everytime? After copying you can just select paste. Also, you could have used the duplicate button above the layers drop down. But very clearly explained video, thank you.
