LEATHER TUBE BANGLE Bracelets
In this video, you will learn, step by step with all the little tricks to make colorful leather bangles with curved metal tubes They are quick and easy to make - Choose any color leather cord 2mm, add one or two metal curved tubes (silver, gold or antiqued gold), seal with Hypo cement glue and let dry 24 hours.
SUPPLIES USED in this video from: www.etsy.com/shop/MichouBeads
SIZING: The average bangle size = 2.5' diameter = 8" long cord - For a larger / smaller bangle, adjust the length of the cord.

Many, many tries later, and after having most of the bracelets I made pop apart, I think I got it. The two ends of the leather must be adhered to each other inside the tube. The leather will never fully attach itself to the tube itself and will break apart. Measure, test the fit, test it again, and then glue. And you are right -- the GS Hypocement really does work best. Everyone wants a set of these, and I've been madly trying to get them made! Thanks, again, for sharing your design!

I am thrilled with how these came out! One word of caution, though... GS Hypocement did not hold well. Most of the first batch snapped open. I suspect it's because I couldn't gauge the amount. Switched the E6000, re-made all of them by running the ends through a blob on a dish (more cleanup, yes), and they're solid as a rock.

How do you keep the bracelets from sliding to the underside of your wrist? It makes sense that it would do this since the tube is the heaviest part of the bracelet but I'm always having to turn them over so they are on the front of my wrist.

The bangles would also be great using thin leather cord, or multi. Color cord, clear, to make stitch in5 area radius'saround muti. bangles, use uneven no. Add the deco stitch shown in previous videos. Or, I'm on a roll, use stitching withsmall beads, still uneven ,5 decor stitches? Add 1st a bit lrgr. Beads to bangles so they slide on bangle between stitchwork freely Ideas, and I like it? Have fun, make them your designs, keep bookon ea. Kerri Morris
