Another way of doing this is to get a clear tube and paint it with white paint. The place a led flashlight on each side of the tube and then turn on each flashlight to light the painted tube. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. Loved it

Your title is not proper, Old tube light has fluorescent coating inside and it is not easy to remove end caps. The coating is also hazardous. Apart from it, the end sockets are connected to 1)starter and 2) choke. These have to be disabled.
