I can’t handle sourness, I’m pathetic when it comes to it. I have three sons who all love sour sweets and they’re always trying to make me try all these crazy new sweets and It isn’t even enjoyable to me 😂 You could add citric acid to the sugar he coats it with at the end to give it a bit of tang back.

There's a mushroom called chicken of the woods, which has the same texture as an actual chicken. Cook it the same way you would a fried chicken and season it properly. That's your fried chicken without a chicken.
