Easy way to make homemade lemongrass oil. It has many benefits and uses such as repelling insects (such as mosquitoes), hair, and skin.
Lemon grass Benefits and Uses:
- to treat spasm or abnormal movement of the gut
- relieves stomachache
- relieves pain and neuralgia
- prevents vomiting
- fights cold and cough
- reduces pain due to rheumatism
- relieves exhaustion
- treats headache
- lemongrass essential oil is used as an antiseptic and astringent
- treats acne/pimples
- used in making hair creams for hair growth

I’ve a lemongrass growing in my garden, it’s not very big. Today some friends who have one growing made me some tea today from their lemongrass and it’s fabulous. I am going to start using mine and I will make this oil, looks fabulous, thank you for sharing this video with us. ❤️🙏❤️

I have watched other oil extraction process, they use a copper tube to distill the oil (minimal) from the condensation process. It seems like a big difference.

That's essential oil and it is not a homemade process. This is an infused oil. Essential oil needs to be diluted before use in most cases. This has the same benefits as the essential oil but less concentrated

What you saw before is the correct oil extraction. This one is titled wrong , this is actually olive oil flavoured with lemongrass

thank you for your nice presentation, my only question is- why don't you wash the lemongrass first before cutting? the reason is that when you wash AFTER cutting some of the flavor of the lemongrass will mix with the water

Thanks. It's just a personal preference. It makes it easier for me to wash when cut than when they are lengthy. But you can wash before cutting.

Suggest you wash before cutting and hang to drip the water! Wrap in a plastic and pound! Cut ones absorb water!
