How to make light patterns using LASER and Mirror

Using LASER diode from a LASER pointer pen and small mirror you can make nice light patterns. To see the LASER you need to create smoke in that area .For smoke I have used incense stick. This kind of LASER you have seen in movies to have high security alarm.

I tried something more less like this with CD discs placed in a few rooms around my home it was a bit rough basic to balance the discs into placed and bounce the beam around my home that excited my cat watching a beam above. I was trying to see if I can see the beam wave or modulate with sine wave low frequencies? That was tricky to prefect as I seen a project music video and laser on youtube months ago that inspired an idea. Like what you done here that's a cool visual display effect.

You can do it with a small transformer and a solar panel. It's easy to modulate a beam.
