Nearly lost the will to live making this as had to undo it so many times. Got there in the end but not recommended for a beginner.

When she finishes the right side and starts on the left, she accidentally forgets to show the very first row she does. I finished the entire left side and realized it was lopsided. This happens around 21:30. I took that left side apart and finally figured out that she just forgot to show us her doing that row. That's probably why you had such a hard time. Other than that her tutorials really good

What is the width of the complete leaf?

The orange leaf is 21 cm wide, the white one is 16 cm wide.
