So I was very curious about ghee in baking as I bake but have never used ghee didn’t know anything about it . Ordered a jar on Amazon and being that I wasn’t familiar with the taste tried it on some toast first. I didnt like it! However I decided I would still try the recipe. Another thing I wasn’t too sure of was evaporated milk in the dough because I thought iz would make the pastry too sweet . Fast forward tö about 11pm last night , ( it took a while because I started late in the day plus I made two different pie doughs) and took my first bite. Queen vartienes channel. I throwery salute for you ( as my fellow Nigerans would say)! The deep , nutty taste of ghee did not in any way affect the overall taste of the chicken pie crust , it was abesolety delicious plus IT WAS SO FLAXY which is what I was primarily trying to confirm with the use of ghee! Honestly your recipes have never disappointed when I repliace them and I just want to encourage and thank you ❤
