this video is long overdue lmao I just felt like I didn't deserve to make it, then when I started working on it I got sick :(
finally its here! and it's about Minecraft content creation, how being a content creator changed me as a person and mayyybe how we as ccs can fix the problems with Minecraft KZfaq content :3
NOTE: I'm not sending hate to any of the youtubers mentioned in the video, i truly appreciate the work that goes into building a successful yt channel, i understand the hustle, i only used clips from their channels to prove a point that's part of a larger conversation, NEVER take this as a green light to do or say anything nefarious or hurtful to these youtubers, i empathize with every and each one of them, and if u think that i shouldn't bcs they're making money, your feelings are valid too but i will continue to practice that empathy, sorry for yapping lmao

literally me bro. i tried minecraft content for a while with little success (besides one 10 second video) and then i switched to doing lethal company videos and its almost like the weight of the algorithm got taken off of me. i was actually able to enjoy the content i was making because i wasn't trying to manufacture something for the algorithm but just make videos because they were fun to make, and then it blew up. something is definitely gonna happen to the minecraft space because i think both content creators and viewers are tired of the videos being made. great video :D

It's a shame that this video doesn't have more views because what you're saying in the this video is completely true. I wish more Minecraft content creators would post videos about them having fun and showing their unique personality rather than just a fake and forced upload. I agree and can 100% back this up. I had an issue because I make SMP content, I made one video about just having fun and another one that was a competitive SMP style. The video for fun got about 800 views and the competitive got like 14k, but still after getting the subs and views I hated that video when I was making it because it wasn't the type of content I wanted to make and if I have to sacrifice not having thousands of views in exchange for stupid funny sh1t then so be it!! W content/channel, hope you get more subs!

I agree, nowadays it’s hard to find success on KZfaq without researching how to be successful with the algorithm. You can put a lot of work into something but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna gain a lot of traction, something i learnt when making my animation content.

I think the main reason why people say they miss old MC content is because older content feels more authentic. Nowadays content is programmed and soulless

What you said in this video is 100% correct. Minecraft content has been copied and oversaturated to the point where almost all of the originality, fun, and passion has been sucked out.. but it is about to change in the future. I managed to get a team assembled, and we'll deliver something that hopefully becomes a movement to create original content once again!

Good vid, and I agree it's crazy how modern Minecraft content has gotten this far to where it just doesn't feel as fun and I've seen a lot of newer creators try and get in the space and be met with this wall and have made videos talking about it (and usually also gaining a small momentum from it) but eventually I think there will be a new movement for MC content in the near future and ye.

Speaking, I heard nothing but facts. I might continue what I stopped, making videos, but for fun with fun in mind instead of popularity and the algorithm in mind. The old KZfaq era doesn't work anymore (or it isn't as affective), if you wish to stand out more then others, there are other ways of achieving that, if you are curious to know, I myself wanted to get into content creation but there are a lot of problems and risks involved which ill not go into, you aren't recording for one person this is a audience think of it as a TV show if they aren't entertained or they aren't learning something new that the viewer would find useful they 9 times out of 10 will click off the video.

hmm i totally get what you mean, but what i meant is to make content that considers the viewer as a human rather than a puppy whose attention you want to catch, building trust and communicating with the audience is an effective way to succeed as long as u actually care! and good future Minecraft content i wish for doesn't have to look and be exactly like the old era, that would be impossible, but rather to learn from what worked ABOUT it. Also to examine your example, if were talking tv shows, if ppl are invested in the characters and plot etc.. they'll watch. but if a show is loud and flashy with no creative vision and has shitty repetitive characters and plot they're more likely to put it on as background noise if at all, exactly like repetitive Minecraft content we are all sick of now :3

@@meyybe facts, it's so easy to get heated and miss all the texture, the meaning of someone's words. I mean, ofc I love talking about something I'm passionate about and immediately getting bullied because it took the person listening to me(barely mostly, lovely) point 00000000000000000000000000000.00000000000001 the literal smallest unit of time, to decide I should burn in hell. I'm sorry for the rant, but holy it gets annoying when the meaning flies over the other persons head, and without a second thought I'm an outcast. I suppose why it hurts me so much is because I'm wanted, but where I'm wanted is always like being a pebble in a blender. Have a wonderful day, evening, and or night.

it's annoying to see all these 'in your face' kind of videos, where they need subtitles for every single thing they say and just trying to keep embryos' attention span, so fucking cringe
