Hello flowstate, new viewer. Your content is reallt soothing and you're *flow* is really great. The explanation is really easy to follow. Small question, for multiplayer servers do you need to load new chunks by actually going to them before being able to view them with distant horizons or does distant horizons load in unvisited chunks like in singleplayer?

I would love to see a video on how to make a realm/server with a mod pack. I understand at this point it seems like its common knowledge to where people don’t need to make tutorial videos for it, but ive personally always struggled trying to figure it out. I'm relatively new to your channel, but really digging your style! You've quickly become one of my most-watched Minecrafters here on KZfaq within the past couple weeks. Gotta say though, listening to your audio has made it apparent that you could use some kind of microphone shield-the plosives (p, b, f, and other hard consonant sounds) are coming across comparatively sharp and loud, which can be jarring on the ear. A pop filter should fix that right up and make you more pleasant to listen to, which should help your growth continue strongly on. Looking forward to more of your videos, especially the ones where you build without a plan!

Also as a developer, theres a reason why the mod isnt public. Basically the program your running hasnt been tested so expect errors. My advice is wait a few weeks untill all the bugs have been ironed out. Just please dont spam the server if something is bugged. Submit a bug report😊

Hey love the vids! Are you planning to update the modpack to modrinth as well, or maybe not because of mod developers porting the mods over?

Been loving this so much I wanted to share the same experience with my friends. do you think I can get this modpack to work on a server? And if so, do you recommend any server host and how much ram should the server have? It's not going to have many people, around 5-6 max.

Now the only thing left is NVidium support someday. Author of this mod already saying that its too hard to do but i still hope that someone will create compability addon for it to make it run with shaders and the Ultimate Minecraft experience is here

Hey, this mod is very cool and i like this mod so much, but the problem is.. that it doesn't support many shaders (like rethinking voxels) because its still in beta (so we need to wait for that).. i suggest that you should again start a new hardcore world with some topics like old style (not with this mod) only your modpack and rethinking voxels shader. The best example is from one of your video called "i conquered a huge ice tower in minecraft" watch that video.. thanks

I thought I would mention that the "black screen" when entering the water is caused by the "enhanced visuals" mod and its underwater blurring effects.

its still a shame that for some reason my computer just freezes distant horizons regardless of what i set it at. seeing these really gets me back into wanting to do world painter and mod packs but just would like to understand why my machine gets so stuttery very well done tutorial btw im surprised someone hadnt already done it honestly

EDIT: The issue came from the DistantHorizon config file! Deleting it fixes the crash Been messing with this for a few hours now 1- Bliss doesn't seem to like AMD gpu much sadly. I'm lucky if I get 30 fps and that's without using the modpack, so using the normal terrain generation (with the modpack, I couldn't even get half that) (Ryzen 5 5900X, an obnoxious amount of ram, RX 6700 XT) Comparing to the current version of DH using Complementary Reimagined (the DH port), I can get 70 fps as a reference. That same shader with a port to this version of DH would likely be a solid fix to the FPS problem 2- If you're thinking of testing this using the basic minecraft launcher by making a copy of your mods folder in case things go wrong (to easily swap back in your old files), that might still not be enough. I wanted to return to my old settings and now I crash whenever trying to load any world (worlds that I never loaded with the beta iris/DH files. I only tested on a single copy). Time to try and do a clean install I guess. Fuck around and find out as they say lmao

Hey flow, thanks for the tutorial! Not sure if this is a bug on your end as well, but either Bliss or DH causes EnhancedVisuals to black out between animations. Do you get this problem/is there a fix for this at all? I know in OptiFine its pretty easy to fix but not too sure with Sodium + Iris

@itsmejb @flowstate videos. The 2080ti is not outdated for Minecraft mods. This specific mod list is not performance intensive. Sodium and Indium actually give you better frame rate than vanilla Minecraft. They are performance enhancing mods. Distant Horizons and bliss shaders are not performance intensive. Distant horizons uses LODs, which do very little to affect performance negatively. Bliss shaders is one of the best performing shaders out there. With this mod list and Bliss shaders, I was getting 165 FPS consistently. No dips. However, I was still getting micro stutters that caused the choppiness. I'd get the stutters, but notice my frame rate stayed pretty much the same. If it came down to my computer not being powerful enough, I wouldn't be getting 165 FPS consistently. It would be dropping frames. I still got stutters every few seconds, but the frame rate never dropped. This leads me to believe it is an issue with the unofficial versions of these mods. Like I said in my previous comment, its most likely the drivers. I have another modpack that I made with over 200 + mods, and Complementary shaders on high settings, and I still get over 100 FPS consistently with no dips or micro stutters. I've used distant horizons before as well. The official versions of these mods never gave me any issues. I'm gonna make a video right now and post it on my channel proving to you that my frame rate is consistent. Also, to answer your question @itsmejb, I have an i7 9700k, so no bottlenecking is happening. I have 32 GB of RAM, and 16GB allocated to my Minecraft.

I have a similar modpack running with dh, but i can never get my 4090 gpu usage ver 60%. So the fps is so bad sometimes. Do you recomend anything? (i have a ryzen 9 5900x)

Hey i have installed the iris installer and Java installer but when I go to open with Java it pops up with “unable to install Java” though when I hit the Java download button it said that it fully downloaded. I also restarted my pc to see if it didn’t register it for some reason but nothing has worked. Could I have some help please this is so frustrating

I have an idea, What if Minecraft made a new game called Minecraft Remastered? This Minecraft focuses on graphics and adds cool shaders, and definitely don't use PTGI shaders, add graphic settings such as original, low, medium, high, ultra, and NextGen Graphics mode, but this is just a fanmade Minecraft game, so if it's Mojang who will make it, I'm sure Mojang can't make it, because 1.20 only adds 2 mobs and 1 biome, that's ridiculous, right?

Do I need to drag the whole adventure mod pack inside the mods folder? Or only the mods? I tried differents things but it seems like the game launch but its like vanilla, also no mod show up on the application
