In this video, I talk about the time management tips that I used to juggle a full time job, and two side hustles while still leaving time for family and things I enjoy.

Greetings Tim. My wife and I want to express our gratitude for the videos you post and our appreciation for the effort that goes into them. In a world of over 800 million KZfaq videos, we would rank yours as one of the best there is. Here is why. You get to the point of the topics without all the side, unrelated material like what your dog ate for breakfast. You are educated on your topics and speak from experiences both good and bad. You do not add a lot of fancy fluff. But most of all. your approach to common sense thoughts and processes is perfect. I am older and retired. I spent over 30+ years in a corporate environment where we were constantly being told to try the new "process of the day" approaches to our work. Most of those failed to understand and appreciate common sense methods. And as you point out in this video, we all need to have patience and not be in a big hurry for results. Thank you. (And we are starting our new side hustle :-)

Remember how after dinner we all HAD to do our homework...no matter what? We didn't read the whole course or book in one night...same with etsy.."inch by inch its a cinch yard by yard its too hard"..then relax and refresh...we all are trained to burn out.

I really enjoy how your videos have a great balance of encouragement/inspiration while also emphasizing that we're all imperfect and to be kinder to ourselves. Really glad the KZfaq algo recommended your content.

Hi Tim; I actually have the opposite problem where I have time to spare (recently moved out of state to get married - no job currently), but I’m desperate to make a “side hustle” work like yourself… I don’t think I’ll ever wish for a “real job” ever again. Trying to figure out my niche for one of these side hustles has been rough, some small ideas but need to turn them into money like yourself.
@TimKoa
@TimKoa Жыл бұрын
Finding a niche can be tough. The only thing I can say is to just try as many things as possible. I started a dozen "businesses/ideas" before one actually started making money. It can be a long search but once you find it, it's life changing. Wishing you the best!

Great video Tim. I find the idea of daily highlights very useful and will definitely implement it from today. I always find it difficult to keep myself motivated when there's nothing interesting happening with my side hustle. Spending some time daily to add value in my business will surely keep me on track. Cheers

You are just fabulous. I have been struggling with this exact thing for a while now. I never seem to have enough time to get stuff done, but then I can never figure out where my time goes because it seems like I can blink my eyes and an hour has passed. I started an Etsy shop a few months ago, but now I haven't had time to do anything with it for over a month. I will be giving all of these suggestions a try! Thank you for the very helpful info! ♥

The new iPhone update lets you have different settings for hours of the day now from 12-3 my phone goes to personal mode I can still get calls, but other things are silenced. It helps me a lot especially with pesky emails or group texts. I will check from time to time in case something is urgent, but it also hides all of my apps except important ones too. It’s been a life changer! I really like how you mentioned value too as including things we enjoy, I’ve been very careful about what I’m spending money on with the craziness in the world and the only subscription I have is crunchy roll because I do enjoy anime and it helps me relax and inspires me to draw. I used to have Netflix and stuff but I didn’t find the shoes as interesting, so it’s just crunchy roll and KZfaq!

Also BIG BIG TIP keep ALL ur personal stuff off ur work space, have an absolute separate desk for billing ,mail gaming...so sitting at etsy desk is ONLY Esty and u won't be pulled away doing that FIRST thinking.. then nothing left for your etsy time. Another tip is don't be tired.. don't do anything dragged out tired. Come back later refreshed. Just my 2cents ;>D

Thank you, Tim. My family is currently in Florida but we are going to sell our house and move to another state where we can buy a house outright with cash because the property taxes and home insurance in Florida is getting absurd. Add the inflationary grocery bill, baby diapers and formula- the cost just really adds up now. 😓
