I like to do this fertilizer with mustard seeds - 3 kg of it costs only RM 15 here in Malaysia. I ferment mine for a week. For the 1st 4 days, I use a ladle to remove the top layer of oil every morning. After which, it's fine. I store them in my Nescafe bottle & give it a good shake daily to incorporate enough air. I do leave the cap off for an hour or so to air it. So far so good. Thank you for teaching us this method, Ms :)

@@willowpoepoe2286 gave them a dose of that mixed with aleo Vera water. . Per plant 5 tablespoon of mustard water mix with 3 tablespoon of aloe water that's for one plant each 3 days depens how much sunlight or light heat your soil gets n how much your plant need watering. . It has increased my buds yields way more than those expensive fertilizer n curing process is faster and also I dnt know how but since using that I dnt hve any insects or deficiency on my plants

My soil is soft. But when we add liquid fertilizer and the soil gets dry after 2 days. Then it does not allow turning easily.

I use a cooking spoon and take out the upper layer. Generally, in 50 gms of mustard seed, the oil quantity that floats on the water is very less not even noticeable to the eye. But removing the oil is necessary when we make it for more than 100 gms. Thank you for visiting.

Don't worry. Applied once or twice with that layer does not give any problem. But don't forget to remove it. It is better if you go for mustard cakes that are easily available in India.

During the flowering season, use every 12 days. Powder form gives results lately due to slow decomposition in the soil. The liquid form is best. 4 tbsps for a 10-inch pot. Dig top 3-inches of upper layer soil, add the fertilizer, mix properly with the soil. Then cover it again with the extracted top layer soil. Next dose after 1 month.

In India, mustard seeds are used to extract oil. So basically, mustard oil is cooking oil and the leftover part after the oil extraction is used as plant fertilizer here. This fertilizer is available online. When we make fertilizer directly from seeds, we have to remove the top layer as oil tends to float on top of the water. I use a cooking spoon to do so. But be ready, the smell could be scary to you if you have not yet used it.

Hi..tnx for the wonderful video...i prepared the liquud as per ur video..but its been raining for the past 4 days so i am unable to use it..u have asked to wait till the soil dries but since its raining its not dry..its been 7 days since i made tge liquid..is it ok for the fertilizer to remain for a long time? How long can it wait? Or should it be discarded..pls help..tnx

You can keep the fertilizer for more than 15 days or more but the quality of it degrades with each day passed. The sooner it is used, the results are better. You don't have to use this ferti... if it is monsoon at your place. Use it in the winter and summer season. Rather collect rainwater and spray on your plant. They will become much happier.

Plants grown in containers need fertilizer every 15 days but rainwater has all the essential minerals that a plant needs to be healthy. Hence fertilizer is not required in monsoon. Also, monsoon season attracts other insects and fungus towards the plants, so better avoid giving home-made fertilizers. Rather you may give the compost, it is good for plants.

Qty of mustard solution- the way you water your plants. Applicable to flowering and fruit producing plants. Advantages- more flowers and fruits. As per the Indian climate, Dose- strong solution, every 10 to 12 days during winter, not applicable in rainy season, weaker solution applicable in summer season every 15 days.

Yes, you can. But you have to keep your plants outside for 10 to 15 days at a shaded place. Anyway, indoor plants never demand this fertilizer. Any normal compost or seaweed solution does a great job for them.

Though never have an experience of using yellow mustard seed yet I am sure it will give good results like the black mustard. Mustard is used for plants because of phosphorous and other micronutrients that are included in both black and yellow seeds. So, you can use it.
