Why would someone making a video for the public give liquid measurements in tenths of a gallon?

Ask Siri or Amazon Alexa to convert the measurement.

3 tenth of a gallon is 38 oz is 5+ cups So. 5 cups warm water, 1 Tbs yeast, Mix. Add 3 Tbs sugar. Wait three hours . Add mix to a bucket of about 2 1/2 gallons. IMO it doesn't have to be exactly those measurements. And I would not use chlorinated water. Chlorine kills yeast and plants.

Mix 5 cups warm water 1 TBS yeast . Add 1 TBS sugar. Mix and let it sit 3 hours. Add mixture to about 2 1/2 gallons of water. Suggest not using chlorinated water at all. Chlorine kills plants/yeast. If you have chlorine in your water let it sit to release chlorine, then use it. Maybe fill your bucket the night before with water to release chlorine.

How often do use the fertilizer? I. Watched one where they said approx 1/2 cup per plant but I didn't hear them say how often? Every day? Twice a week? Once a week? Help

I have watched many videos about how to make this fertilizer and not one of them has said how often to use it, is it used along with other forms of fertilizer, how long does this concoction last after you mix it, etc etc! It is so frustrating I feel like I want to scream. I have asked these questions in the comments of at least five or six of these videos and I have received not one answer. If you're going to make a how to video, please please give all information needed! So very frustrating!

@@thatsjustrong7618 It depends on how big your plants are. I have five-week-old cucumber plants (in buckets), and I only give them fertilizer every two weeks, maybe once a week, when the plants are getting bigger. The fertilizer won't kill the plants; it just improves the soil.

I tried nutritional yeast. It didn't work. But I also use water with chloride in it. So maybe it's the water. Trying it with regular dried yeast and same water - and it seems to be working.
