DIY paper beads - paper bead making has been around for a long time! People in the Victorian era used to make beads from old wallpaper - neat! These days we have a lot of different papers to choose from, when it comes to how to make paper beads.

You actually can use a square toothpick! It is my preference because they are easier and faster to roll. The center hole looks a little square, but the overall bead when used as a bead, never looks wonky. It works well because the paper gets bent onto the toothpick and therefore grips it really well.

Owe ur skewer u can wrap paper around the end to make a handle or use a cork out of a wine bottle drill a hole in it glue it on. 😊

I’m new to this but wouldn’t it avoid the bell shaped bead and losing a hold on the bead when you’re rolling it if you put a little glue on the paper as you’re rolling the bead?

I have tried this OVER and OVER and when I try to remove the bead from the needle type tool it always is distorted and difficult to remove. I give up.

They're not gonna make any beads watching you , you left out the MOST IMPORTANT PART !! Measurements ! Cutting measured paper to get what you after. You sure didn't starts your out right, that's why it wouldn't cooperate with you. It's was croked. You have a nice voice and I'm sure you can do much better. Put more thought into it before you do this again. ❤
