I was craving pizza, so I thought I’d film a “how to make vegan pizza at home” kind of video similar to the “how to make ramen at home” video I did. The pesto sauce is a cashew pesto recipe that my husband made for me since I eat pretty dairy-free, and the pizza dough is a no yeast pizza dough recipe I found off of the internet (since I still can’t find any yeast at the grocery store), here it is for reference: bit.ly/3eWVXAr. I wish I would have added a creamy element to the pesto sauce since it was a little dry, but all in all, I thought the flavors turned out really good! pesto:
2 cups basil
1 cup cashews
4 cloves garlic
1 cup olive oil (1/2 cup at a time)
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
salt to taste
no-yeast pizza dough (cast iron skillet is 10.5” wide)
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
1 tbsp olive oil
