You totally rock! I wish I had a video like this for every costume you make for Lane, you're a genius with upcycling fabric. A lot of times it costs more for me to purchase all the materials I need than to just buy something ready made!

How much different would the fabric requirements be for an adult version of these? Or is it the same?

Depending on the size 'shelf' you want on the hips of the dress, this set could work for a smaller adult with a minimal shelf on the dress. You can easily modify the measurements to enlarge the pieces. I am working on another tutorial for a larger pair of pocket hoops for a more extreme look in adult size. :)

I have two questions: 1) Instead of surging can I use a zigzag stitch around the edges? 2) Will this size fit older people or is this just for kids? Thanks (:

+Jewel Phantomhive Answers: 1.) You can skip serging altogether. If you are worried about the fabric edges fraying, you can use a zigzag, or cut with pinking shears. 2.) I posted a tutorial for adult sized pocket hoops. Just search my channel and you'll find it! You can also find link on my twitter, IG, etc ;)
