www.tinypandor... This is the first in a series of quick videos answering questions I have received. Bracelets and Cuffs are a blast to make. The flat ones are self explanatory, especially if you use the Lucite template and aluminum form in the EasyCuffs Kit. Here is a link. tinypandora.co... but when you want a domed effect, there are a couple of tricks you can use to create a uniform shape on the form. Once you have created a domed shape, you can cover it with a cane strip, texture it, use mica powders, apply a silk screened kit, or use acrylic paints or alcohol inks to enhance your design. In this video, we use a strip of cane slices. Be sure to COMMENT below if there is something you would like me to demonstrate. Love, Pandora

I really like that you shared how to do this technique. I personally like this style bracelet more than the flat bangle. I am enjoying your bracelet kits and look forward to purchasing the black and silver kit you mentioned yesterday. Thank you.

Thank you for your time! I love when you saw it doesn't have to be perfect. I know I do that and stress over it as I am sure I am not the only one. I appreciate that. I love the cuffs and look forward to making some.

Awesome, as always. Your videos are both calming and inspiring. Your relax manner of presenting info and your lovely voice actually makes me relax and feel very chill. That, my dear, is a gift. Have you ever considered voice-overs? You certainly have the skill-set for it. I am in the throes of a home reno, stress is fairly constant. December 24th I literally fell through my kitchen floor. Landing on my rump was the only thing that kept my entire body from hitting the lower level. Once on firmer flooring and realizing I suffered no major injuries I knew I had to calm down prior to driving to my temporary, nearby residence. (My heart was racing - not only from fear but also knowing I faced more expense that budgeted but also knowing I would be very bruised and sore the next day.) I watched a few of your tutorials and felt I was OK to drive. (I live alone, I was alone at the house.) I am not familiar with the RX for anxiety but at least for me you could cause their sales to suffer.

I'm so happy you did this! the very first bracelet I made on your aluminum blank was domed, and I sure had a time of it, making a thick snake then smoothing out to the ends. this way would've saved me so much time!

I can't wait to receive my order of my easy cuff. I am really please I found this tutorial before the kit arrived. I have been doing a lot of research on making cuffs, bangles and bracelets. Having a large wrist and hand, I ordered the XL as I can never buy bangles that will fit. You make everything so easy, thank you.

So glad you made this video, Pandora. I learned a LOT, as always. My question is: where did you get the flat tool you used to make the seat for the bail and also where did you get the tool you used to place the crystal? I've been using tweezers and the crystals keep falling out! Thanks again for your generosity in sharing your knowledge!

Teresa, thank you for this tutorial; I especially love the domed bracelet. Question: how do you flatten the bottom without sacrificing the shape of the top? I couldn't tell from the video. Can you let me know exactly how you did that? Thanks.
@TeresaPandoraSalgado
@TeresaPandoraSalgado 7 жыл бұрын
True, I didn't show enough of that. Lay out your snake. With two fingers, push down on the sides as evenly as you can. As you go along the length, you'll form a 1/2 circle shape from the original round shape.

Ms. Teresa, im a huge fan of yours! I love your projects and ideas. Ive looked on the web for answers but can't find anything. Why do all my cuffs, bangles break after i bake them? I let them cool and they snap if its a cuff or break in half if its a bangle. Thank you so much for your videos!

I do have a question. I watched a video this morning and was surprised to hear it was not necessary to glue raw clay to baked clay. I have always applied glue, it made sense to me and it was what I had always heard would produce the best results. I respect your opinion and admire your work so your thoughts on this would be most appreciated. Would you glue raw clay embellishments to.baked clay? Thank you for your thoughts.
@janedoe6181
@janedoe6181 7 жыл бұрын
faye austin Like you, I thought it was always necessary to use a “glue” medium with raw and baked. I didn’t hear anywhere in this video that Theresa mentioned it wasn’t necessary to use TLS, Bake and Bond, Kato Liquid, etc. to adhere raw to baked clay. Did I miss something?

Jennifer Coffman I like Superglue and Crazy glue because it's not thick. E6000 is good though.

I use a "Pick Up Pencil", from Amazon. It looks just like a white pencil but it has enough "stick" to hold a jewel temporarily. Somebody told me they were the same ones dressmakers use to mark on fabric.

I like the pick up pencils for flat stones but these pointy-backed ones are stinkers. They hold well though.
