2 жыл бұрынWho doesn't want a really posh pen without spending a fortune!? Well, I do- so I made some to see just how great polymer clay can make things look! This easy tutorial shows how simple marks and strips of clay can be added to a pen to completely transform pens!

Video Features
-How to make simple decorations using lines and dots

Tools:
-BIC round Stic X-tra-Life pens (Amazon link above)
Tissue blade, craft knife, dotting tools, marking tools, texture rollers
-Mica powder: Gold, bronze, silver
Baking: Use Polymer Clay packet instructions. Good tip is to bake no higher than 100 degrees celsius. It's better to bake at a lower temperature for longer, than higher for shorter. Larger clay items need longer- always check after 10 mins- sometimes things fall over in the oven & can be rescued at this point. Watch for burning! Especially white as it's quick to burn (don't know why...) and can turn yellow! Electric ovens work better as the temperature is even, gas oven temperatures fluctuate do not keep a steady temp for baking polymer clay.... I don't like to state baking times because all clay is different- there are so many different products and ovens, it's hard to advise....

I’m with you my fav is the silver one, the other 2 are pretty, but I’m partial to silver. lol and yes understand the zoo part. lol 2 dogs (did have 5 but lost 3 in the last 4 yrs) one cat, 19 fish in a pond, 9 tortoises, 2 goats and one horse. Ya a zoo. For me hearing critters makes me feel at home. lol tfs hugs

Thanks for watching Karen Oh wow! You do really have a zoo! I have Oscar- he was the barker in this video- he's been clingy since my other one passed, he's such a comfort. Thinks he's a lap dog and he really isn't! I also have a whole load of fish, but sadly no pond- just a tank 😆 I couldn't cope with a pond! I agree, I'm such an animal lover & will always have a some kind of furbie 😄

I really like them all but I was wondering on your gold one doesn't it hurt your fingers when writing? Looks like it might. 👍❤

I tried it out. The smooth areas where the strip is, that's where I hold it, but the little dots don't hurt when you hold it as they are quite pushed in :)

So I'm 2:36 in and I'm already annoyed. No voice over, sped up, and focused out too far to actually see what you're doing. Sorry but I don't like it.
