Hi Val! I live in Sacramento, CA. Fairly close to you! I have been doing nails for about 6 years now (on my own, self taught). I've been following u for a couple weeks now I believe, and I love your channel. I'm actually in the beginning stages of doing the same things. Like prepping and investing in products to start my own press on line and etc. I'm even saving to buy decent filming equipment. I have sooo much work to do before I legitimize and legalize everything, but your channel reminds me that my goals are achievable and attainable! Honey, just be you and the ones who love YOU and the way you present yourself and products will find you. I’ve been in the hair, nail, beauty business for over 35 years, now retired, and not everyone is for everyone. Having said that, it’s good to fine tune our presentation and communication skills, and most of that comes in the “doing”. The more you do videos the better you’ll get!! So just be you!! 💖💖 it’s all good girl!!

I appreciate you talking and explaining everything in depth. There are KZfaqrs who are amazing at nails but they don’t talk or explain what they’re doing or what products they’re using. Instead they play music throughout the video while they show them working at a high speed. And it’s pointless to watch those videos. So I enjoy your videos. Keep talking and teaching. N

Great help I cannot wait to start doing press on nails 🤗 yay 🙌 looks fun im creative always have been since I was younger buy have been a bit blocked for ideas and how to start hmmm so if I make a random order to start do I just do all sizing from 0 to 9 is that right? How do I know what designs go on each one lol I feel so 😅 confused but I know I will get the hang of it lol im just having trouble starting 😅 omg lol 😆 😅

Of course ! And honestly this might sound INSANE but When I started with press ons I noticed that depending on different brands , the sizing for each shape would vary so what I did was measure each and every size with a piece of tape and a ruler to get the perfect amount of millimeters for each size ❤️ and once I did that I write the correct millimeters on the box along with the number of the tip so I always have it ❤️

I just like to do it on certain colors ( especially dark colors) because sometimes the color from the sticky layer will transfer into your top coat + the sticky layer sometimes catches lint so I like to wipe it off before applying my topcoat so I dont contaminate my bottle with lint + debris

I have them give measurements and I covert them based on the length/ shape they would like(: the only times the tips wouldn’t fit would be if they measured incorrectly. I also have a video on how to measure ❤️
