Daisy you are an angel, a lifesaver! First birthday my daughter will have at a public venue and with people other than close family because she was born right before COVID. Bought a cricut to personalize her event, make it special. I could not get the print to cut to ignore the images and only cut the outline of the favor boxes. love the tutorial. you said that you can send to printing company, once you get it back home you just pull the file up again and cut or how does that work since you have left the program?

Hello. Get back to your design in cricut design space & go through the steps as if you would from the start but when your machine ask "send to printer" it also has an option of "already printed" choose that & it'll go to cut as the next step.

I’ve tried glossy cardstock before but idk if it’s the printer I was using or what but the ink would come right off when I would print on it

Hi Daisy, so sorry to bug but I am doing all the right steps, have text in box, then flatten text, then add in score lines then attach, I am not getting second mat for cut. when I flatten I lose my box cut. any suggestions? OMG I need this to work. It looks so simple yet I have been working on for three hours lol. It is a soap box I am working on.

Hi S Carpenter, I know it’s a month later but did you get it to work? I know how frustrating it can be when trying something new! Maybe I can help? Did you drag your mouse over both layers before clicking ‘attach’? And also you won’t get a cut screen until after you have done the ‘print’ screen. Once printing has been done the print screen will exit then the cutting screen will replace it. If you didn’t get it to work maybe we could FaceTime and work it out together, if you’re still keen to have a go. 😁 Another option is to visit Jennifer Maker’s Facebook group/KZfaq channel etc. She has countless videos and there’s usually people in the group online at all hours from all countries who will answer your questions straight away including moderators who are so helpful. A wonderful group. ❤️💯🙏🏼

im confused too, I think with the larger box. she has it in two pices that is how you are able to print and cut. print and cut has a max size of 9.25 x 6.75

Since these ones are small and print then cut, i use photo paper. You may use thicker cardstock for bigger boxes. 100lbs above

to make it bigger. cant we just enlarge the pattern by increasing the width and height. why did you have to duplicate and slice half of each pattern, the only difference was that you added a second tab? and for print and cut, the item cant be bigger than 9.25 x 6.75 the print and cut for the bigger box won't work. the bigger box is 8.787 x 12.15. is that the total box? so is each half of the box half that size. I hope Im making sense. its hard to follow because you are going a little fast and I couldn't see the numbers. thank you

I too have the same question. I am confused on why she made the bigger box but printed out the smaller one. I'm trying to make some bigger boxes so I guess I will follow the slice method and add tabs.
