I used to make these many years ago, and would iron the squares into the triangle folds before pinning. Your way saves a bit of extra work! With all of the fabric I have on hand from making masks, this would be a fun project in the new year when I have more time. Never too early to create decorations for next year!

Thank you for this video. I saw quilted ornaments in Herrschners and they wanted $19.99 for a kit of 1. That's a little too much for me. I am on a fixed income. You explained yourself very well and was easy to follow. I have watched your other videos and I love them all. I will be ordering materials to make some for my tree and for gifts. You do an excellent job on your videos.

Yes, they usually call them glass head pins. I find mine at my local WM in the sewing aisle.

Quilting ruler. I like the Omnigrid brand. In the USA, they have it on Amazon, Walmart, Joanns, and most places that sell fabric type of crafts.

What kind of small ruler are you using? I can’t fine one like it.

That one is considered a sewing gauge ruler, for creating hems on dresses and pants. Usually the sewing section of craft places have them.
