🎀 𝐅𝐀𝐐!! 🎀 (press "read more" to read the entire message!) 🍓 ~ If you're having trouble reading the text, such as distinguishing the type of bracket used, etc. you can always turn on HD QUALITY! 🍓 ~ If it still isn't working after attempting the solutions I've provided below, *DM me at ely.**#2092* 𝐐 : The roles embed is acting as my greet message now. If I remove the greet channel, my actual welcome embed won't send. 𝐀 : Once you finished sending the roles embed to the desired channel, skip the remove greet channel step (6:42) and use /set messages greetmsg {embed:yourwelcomeembedname} to re-set it as your welcome message! 𝐐 : I keep getting "invalid description" when I tried to send the greet/leave message, how do I fix this? 𝐀 : Make sure you _type the embed name correctly and there aren't any spaces_ when setting the greetmsg/leavemsg to {embed:name}. (replace the "name" with your actual embed name!) 𝐐 : How do I add nitro emojis to basic information (title + description)? 𝐀 : Type \ in any chat and then select your emote, it should show up as something like this: (the numbers will differ depending on the emote). This is the ID of the nitro emoji! Just copy the entire thing and paste it into the title/description and it will show up! 𝐐 : How do I copy the role ID on MOBILE? 𝐀 : Add the role to your profile, then press on the role. It should say you copied the role ID! 𝐐 : Since we have to set the message as a greetmsg, now the actual greet/welcome message isn't working. How do I fix this? 𝐀 : After you set the reaction roles embed to the greetmsg and it's posted in the channel, you can remove it as a greetmsg by re-setting your actual greet embed! 𝐐 : Whenever i test out the role reaction, I get this DM: "You don't have a required role for this self-assignable role group." How do I change it? 𝐀 : At 8:51, choose "Requires roles: NONE SELECTED" under the "group" category AND when you add role commands at 9:34!

on 3:42 and youre having trouble on mobile and it still doesnt say Copy ID, write the role in the chat and press and hold onto the message until you get some options, once you see them click Copy Text. I hope this helps:) Thank you sm for the tutorial! It helped me a lot and it worked

Recommendation - don't set it as your greetmsg, create an autoresponder instead to send it - that way it won't intefer with your current greetmsg

@@yahyeetimus you only have to use /set messages greetmsg {embed:yourwelcomeembedname} to re-set it as your welcome message, it's only one extra step. plus, you cannot skip lines when creating an autoresponder, which some people may want in their welcome embed!

how to do the embed post thing if you didn’t get it! /set messages greetmsg:{embed:yourembedname} set messages greetchannel: (the channel you wanna post it in) /test greet delete everything except the roles embed if you have an actual welcome message: re-set it up after you get the roles embed posted! Or if you wanna do it fast: /embed show (name of roles embed) not sure if this works but if it does leave a like or reply!

if you use /embed show, it will have a slash command show up at the top where it says "@user /embed show" which some people wouldn't like :) using the way in the video is more complicated, but it looks more clean than /embed show !!

after you posted the reaction roles embed, you can remove it from the greet message and re-set the greet msg as your welcome embed

Question. When I put /rolemenu create it shows /rolemenu create group: message id: nodm: rr: skip: and when I do all of that the bot says The bot permissions has been incorrectly set up on this server for it to run this command: Missing Access but the thing is i did put permission on the bot can u help?

at 8:30, it explains the different modes for your role group - please make sure you chose *standard* or *multiple* if you want your members to be able to select more than one role! another reason could also be perhaps you're reacting too fast, since yagpdb has a 1-2 second cooldown between each reaction! 🍓

you have to make a group before you can add role commands to it! i put "none selected" so it doesn't require a role for a user to use that group of reaction roles. the role commands are added under the group you created at first, so you can add the reaction roles to your embed (later on the in video)

when typing in /set messages greetmsg {embed:yourembedname} , make sure you typed the embed name correctly and without any spaces ! if your embed was named with spaces, you should rename it ^^

it's worked for everyone else, so it must be that the bot doesn't have the right role or channel permissions in your server, so maybe check that

if the bot isn't responding and you have all the permissions enabled, you either typed the command wrong or the bot is offline,, 🎀

When I go to [Create new role command] in YAGPDB after making the color thing, and write the role I cant pic rhe role beside "group" where I wrote colors.

after you create a new group, a tab will appear at the top, make sure to click into that before creating a new role command (you *shouldn't* be under the tab "ungrouped / home")

I know, but when you wrote the role "Raspberyy" it appeared already under the role thing, but for me when I write like the role purple it doesnt come up, so i clicked on the little arrow, still I couldn't click on the role it says "role is above bot" besides the role. I even tried to give the bot more access but it doesn't work. (sorry I wrote too much)

you have to move yagpdb's role above the ones you're trying to add, just like the website is stating

I wanted to use animated emojis in the embed and I've got it to where I can see the actual emojis in the embed but when I try to use the greet commands to send it to the proper channel, all that appears is the emoji name. Know how to fix this?

did you use the right format for the emotes? they should look like this: (the name & numbers will differ depending on the emote)

if you hold down the message and scroll down on the pop-up menu, somewhere at the bottom it should say "copy ID". perhaps the setting didn't update yet so you can try refreshing the app (closing and re-entering)

whatever you named the group on yagpdb's site (8:26) is what you should replace [group name] with! make sure the spellings are correct as well c:

are you trying to add regular emojis or nitro emotes? there are instructions on how to add nitro emotes in the pinned comment !

in the embed or as a reaction role? i'm assuming it's for the reaction role, so just hover over the embed and press the three dots, then press "view all reactions", and remove the one that you didn't mean to put !

you can set the reaction role embed as the greetmsg and once it's uploaded to the channel, you can re-set the greetmsg as your actual welcome message

i didn't use /@role to get the role id, i went into roles setting and right clicked on the role and pressed "copy id"
