One thing i would change it To put the Power switch between the buck boost converter and not on the Led side. Even if Led's are off the buck boost converter still takes power when it is on. Another thing is the Led cob modules. I'm pretty sure at 12 volt they will get warm enough to melt that Plastic. I would of added some kind of Passive heat sink to the med modules and cut some plastic holes to vent out that heat. But over all your project is awesome Thank you for sharing it with us. Gave me some ideas on a project i need to work on with 12 volt led's in them.

wired wrong.... the switch needs to be placed before the chargeboard and boost module... not between module and LED's cause even with the switch off... the boost module will still be pulling "stand by current" and either this means when you go to use it , it will be dead, or you'll have to leave it plugged in which is a waste of power. Oh, the parts list has an error as well , you list a buck converter yet you are"boosting" the single cell Li-Ion to 12V for the LED's... so you are using a Boost converter, not a buck converter Buck = step down Boost = Step up.

The plastic melt if continued run, and with this kind of battery + step up modules + 2 big LED it won't last for an hour Use 3.3volt 1 watt LED, it can continued run for about 4-5 hours

making one, been looking at loads of vids, getting ideas from each one, then putting them together, to make a frankingstine emergency lighting, , so far, a phone batt, step down, 1w led, 3 to 4v, and a charging module, making it soon, got a small camper van, and using/trying different types of led to light it, my first go was using 3 cop led round type, the remote control ones, but you need loads of aaa batts, but you need a good recharging unit, making one, ish, then got some 48 SMD COB LED T10 4W 12V Car Interior Panel Light Dome Lamp Bulb, times 4, connected to a 12v leisure batt, they are bright, power turned down to 10v, with a buck converter, I have found when it comes to rechargeable emergency lighting on the market, they make them to complicated and to expensive,

Can this be used to recharge coin cell lir2032 batteries connected to led lights. If so, what do set the buck converter to?
