We made a delicious rose jam with rose petals we collected from the village of Isaköy in Beyşehir district of Konya. We didn't expect it to be this good on our first try. It is actually very easy after paying attention to a few tricks. These tricks are as follows; Make sure to collect the roses early in the morning, wash them without waiting and rub them with sugar. When the rose becomes porridge, throw it into the syrup you have prepared and boil it. You can find the detailed recipe below.
Roses are mostly grown in Isparta in our country, and rose oil and rose jam are made from these roses. ENJOY WATCHING
ROSE JAM RECIPES
1-Rose leaves are washed
2- It is rubbed with sugar and water. Meanwhile, sherbet is prepared.
3- When the rubbed leaves turn into mush, they are added to the prepared syrup.
4- It is boiled for 10 minutes.
5- Add lemon juice and boil for 10 more minutes.
6- When it gets dark, the bottom is covered, put in jars and turned upside down.
Here the amount of sugar and water depends on your amount of rose petals.
