I'm new to Dremels, but this thing has been great. kzfaq.infoUgkxfPgcZ5_Cl0HDUKkMJAKde11YKQZVgMoR The variable speed is awesome and the cordless aspect makes it so easy to work with. I am constantly finding uses for it that make tasks easier. Recently I put in a new deadbolt on one of our doors. I knew I had to enlarge the hold where the deadbolt goes into the door frame. At first I thought I would have to get a big router and figure out how to use it for that, but then I rermembered we have the dremel. I was able to enlarge the hole almost as easy as if I was drawing with a pen. It's also great for grinding our dog's nails done and so many other household tasks.

It’s something of a miracle how you find parts that mate with each other exactly right. I spent half a day in ‘big box’ stores trying to get parts that mate with each other. In your case, these just seem to drop in your lap. Good for you!

Not bad. To anyone making their own, I would suggest drilling some holes in the side of the plastic tube where the slot is in the motor for cooling and use solder on the twisted wires for better conduction even though there is heat shrink on the connections. Also, make a motor mount out of a plastic or thin plywood disk instead of using hot melt glue and screw that to the face of the motor. Of course, make it any way you want. Just my 2 cents.

If you make this please vent it if you don't it could catch fire or just burn up the motor. It has vents on the motor for a reason.

Fot the use of a tool like this, and it isnt a Heavy tool.. I dont think there will be a problem. If it gets hot stop it let it cool off :)

Hello, please tighten up the 2 set screws that hold the nosepiece onto the motor shaft the little key is in the plastic bag too.

Nice but we have to use long handal n make a hol in motor bar n in attached device so there will be no danger.n for sapport of blad; blad sazied mean upto teeth of blad only teen remain open instead of scroow on both side. In sort I wish to avoide any danger chance.

I attached a mini drill chuck to the motor shaft. It is available online on ebay and there are may options to choose. I am not aware of any alternate attachment that is as useful as a drill chuck.

Good try, but in the USA... We have Harbor Freight Store that have these Drills and it's $6.99 with like 80 Pieces attachments. If you are in the USA, and you are reading this... Don't bother wasting your time making it, buy it cheaper and less time too :D

Make sure that you have a powerbank that supports continuos supply to other devices except mobile/tablets (many powerbanks don't).

I liked your idea but I wish to make a rechargeable battery operated Tool having a Chuck having very low speed for household cleaning in which, a rotary cleaning attachment can be fixed to clean shelves, household items, inaccessible nooks & corners. Can you give any idea friend.....!!!

To make a low speed tool, you can use a 100 rpm high torque motor that can be powered by Li-ion batteries, which will be charged using TP4056 charging module. Attach a mini drill chuck over the motor and use rotary cleaning tools available as accessories for a dremel tool.

I don't get the parts of the black wire, could you explain it please?

The black wire is just a USB cable that has 4 separate wires inside (i.e two wires for power and two for data transmission), since we only need two wires to supply power, so i had to cut two data wires. Mostly, the black and red wire signifies the power cable. The red wire is connected to a switch wire and the black wire is connected to one of the motor terminals and the other motor terminal wire is connected to the remaining switch wire.
