I build mostly 1/700 ships i haven't seen any people detailing the ocean foam as much as you did! Now i look back it's kinda funny how i spend 99% of my time on the ship itself. Really inspiring work! I'm going to attempt that voronoi foam pattern on my build, thanks for sharing!

I have seen a lot of water effect model but you are clearly the first who have understand what water physically is. It is incredible.

Love how this is accurate too because the Sharnhorst and Gnesiunau were constantly being pummeled by storms

Each sea diorama I try to get as close to this as possible. The waves are so beautiful. I will somehow learn to blend the forms and the colors until i get it. Great work.

While Scharnhorst is my favorite battlecruiser/fast battleship, your seascape steals the show! :-) Wow, I can feel the heaving waves and the stinging cold spray.

What would be really good would be if someone came up with a series of stretchable rubber seascapes that were flexible enough to accommodate a range of sized models, and then you could concentrate on building the model, and then fitting it in a ready made sea-scape. I love the finished art but I'm more of an engineer, I just want to build the thing as fast as possible. Bad enough having to rebuild poorly made parts of a ship without then having to spend weeks doing the sea. If you're an artist however, you won't mind.

Sooooo nice!!! I think this is the first time I see that fine brush work for small wave crests. The only thing I am not too convinced is the sea colour. I think the North Sea, as any other sea during storms, is much less blue and more grey. There is no sky blue to be reflected.
