I’d usually measure each side and try to work out how many scrunchies in each size I can make to minimise fabric waste. Then I’d use a ruler to guide the rotary cutter, but I’m not great at using it so can’t really give advice on that 😅

Hi there, I’m no expert but personally I like to use any fabric that is soft and lightweight on the hair, and I wanna say it also depends on the season/occasion/purpose,etc. as well. For example, in winter time you might want to try velvet scrunchies, whereas microfibre towel scrunchies are great for soaking up moisture,… In my store at the moment I sell mostly satin and cotton scrunchies.

7 to 8 inches of elastic isn't enough for thicker hair, it's too loose. I usually do 10 inches and thats perfect.
@darahandmadeau
@darahandmadeau Жыл бұрын
It’s enough for me and my customer base. I’ve got thin Asian hair. Also I sell in Australia and my feedbacks so far have been good. If I did 10” then it’d wrap around the hair 3, 4 times and that might ruin the look of the scrunchy. But it’s good to know some have thicker hair and require more.
