Thank you for stabilizing the camera! I can't even watch most of the soap videos out there because they are so bouncy!!! Recipes are all over the internet, so your video is excellent for being able to really see the stages and know we are on track in the soap cooking process. Thank you. Good video.

I LOVE how you say oils! Irrelevant, I know, but it was so funny and cute! Also, great video, I like that you took it kinda slow instead of rushing through it. Makes it easier to follow. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!

@pewmanfustudios Yes. I melt the oils and bring the soap to trace on high and cook it on low. You can get inexpensive crock pots from the thrift store or goodwill. Also you can get one from Walmart for around $20. Good luck with your liquid soap!

The lye solution for the liquid soap , was calculate the same manner as cold/hot soapmaking?
@JoannaMuse
@JoannaMuse 11 жыл бұрын
My suggestion would be to go to the lye calculator site...put in ingredients and they do all the calculating for.you. I say this because when I started I wanted to use what was in my cupboard first before I went out and spent money...So mine was 8 oz of olive oil, 8 oz. coconut oil, 8 oz. shortening, etc.
@LovelyByNatureBoutique
@LovelyByNatureBoutique 13 жыл бұрын
@Marymont10 Hi, no you have to calculate it a little differently. If you don't have a liquid soap making book check the internet to see if you can find a recipe. I hope this helps.

It varies from person to person. Try something with goatmilk or shea butter in it.

If you are then perhaps you could share a link? :D Thanks. And thanks for the video, I found it interesting, and love the voice over... "I think it's mash potato stage". Good fun. Thanks.

@AbraSpiders Thanks! hehehe! Everyone laughs at how I say things. My daughter always ask me to say, "Caramel, Ridiculous", or some other word that she thinks I say funny! hahaha! My last meeting at work my Director kept saying "Red" because he thought that I said that really funny! I'm always looking around saying "What?" cause I don't hear myself sounding like that. But its all good!

No offense taken. The point of the video is to show you the steps taken to make it. even with a recipe someone will not know what each stage looks like. its sort of unfair for someone to want me to give out a recipe that I created and perfected, however, the next time I do a how-to I will find a basic recipe on the internet to use as a guide. thanks for watching.
