- 2 tablespoon Castor Oil
- 1 tablespoon Almond Wax (or any beeswax alternative)
- 1g Vitamin E Oil (Antioxidant)
- Essential Oils or Fragrance (Optional)

My daughters hair likes this recipe. I use it when protective styles to "tame" her ends when twisting and braiding (its my O in LCO method). When I take the style out her ends are still moisturized!! Thank you!

Hi else I try something for my edge too with sheabutter Amla dark oil Carrots oil,fenugreek seeds,rosemerry, Clove in smoll quantity to try for my edge never grow I lost follicles inside my scalp due to pull plates!!

This is an oil based recipe so it will last up to several months, I'd say at least 3 😊

I just made mine! Great consistency! Do not have a scale so I just eyeballed roughly half a dropper of a Vitamin E oil by looking at the amount you dropped into yours 😃 I see you stated the shelf life is about 3 months. Only question I have is do I need to refrigerate or can it stay out? Thank you!!!

WholeElise Thank you soooo much!!! It doesn’t hold my edges, however, it is extremely moisturizing and I love that! Based on the ingredients used, I plan to use it more as a pomade/scalp conditioning. The texture is so smooth and soft so it will definitely (in my opinion) be useful that way - as a scalp moisturizer. ☺️
