I just try this circuit but I don’t have 12 volt but i and the 18 volt battery I use won’t start the mosfet switching just blow them the midge I have is rated for 100 volt and 90 volt 20 volt to gate I use a 14 by by 14 transformer I use 1k resistor but no conductivity to turn transformer what’s should I do because the mosfet is rated for high voltage I try the itf44n same thing burn up I think I all 20 mosfet blow

In a simple fan we use on warm days,you will find a capacitor behind the motor. It’s a little black block. You see it right away. Mostly it’s 250 volt and 4.5uf, or 5uf, or6uf. Try to find 2 with the same uf. Take 1 wire of each and put them together. This goes to the positive of you centre tap travo. The other 2 wires of the capacitors go to the other 2 wires of the centre tap. By turning the project on and off, the back spikes can harm the mosfets. The capacitors deal with the high voltage back spikes. Good luck. ! P.S. you can also use capacitors out of a microwave. Mostly they are 2100 volts. Look for 2 capacitors with the same uf.(this is important).

You can build a protection circuit with a diode so if you ever reverse polarity again it won't do any damage.
