How to make simple nine-patch 'facet' quilt blocks!

Jeanette's got a lovely little project in The Sewing Studio today! By simply reordering the colour patches in the Noughts 'n' Crosses quilt design she shared recently, she's created an entirely new effect with these simple nine-patch blocks. Jeanette has called this her 'Facet' quilt block as it looks like the many faces of a gem.

I can just see that quilt being tied instead of being quilted. It would keep it soft and cuddly. Love your videos.

Love this pattern!! Love how color placement can change the pattern!! I am going to follow your idea in cutting my scraps down to 2 1/2" Blocks from my scraps. It will keep my scraps nice and neat instead of thrown in a box.
