How to use fabric scraps to make little slow stitched squares with birds. You can use these in larger stitched pieces or as part of your journaling and you can certainly make them on a larger scale.
Save all your small pieces of scrap fabric to use in little squares like these. Once I have enough squares, I’ll make a fabric book.

@@cookingjennfer yes it does! And I also remember how I felt about the fabric as I was using it. Sometimes, I knew I was going to miss having it because I really liked it, however, I do have a practical side, and it was better used than sitting in a bin somewhere ... It was all good!

If you did not realize that God motivated you to make this video, reread the thank you’s from those of us who are taking the time to thank you. I have no doubt that everyone who watched you create was blessed and inspired! I too save the smallest scrapes of fabric, trims, and threads, knowing that one day I will have the perfect use for it. There are no accolades that are encouraging enough! Every time I saw you do something I was cheering you on! And very grateful that you were so thoughtful, that we were allowed to peak over your shoulder, drinking it all in! You are incredibly creative! I sew with ladies from my church. We make more things than I can list here, for our Christmas toy giveaway. I was inspired by some of the things you did, so God bless you, for that! When we wake up in the morning we never know how the love of God will flow out of your lives that day. There are a million more seemingly small things (from our perspective) that we say or do, to bless someone, than things that are a big deal. You took the time to create an environment that opened a door for people all over the world to sit on the edge of our chairs, enjoying your talent. I know it takes time to set up the camera, beautiful music and things I’m unaware of. THANK YOU!

Do you ever use fray check or something to hold these delicate pieces through a washing -- even hand washing? I can see adding them as elements on clothing, but wonder how well they would hold up to wear and wash. Truly love the simple beauty of these.

I don’t wash my art so I’m not concerned but if you were planning to wash yours, you could use whatever you’d normally use to help with fraying.
