Works a treat, although that brown metal you attacked looks a bit funny.

Probably annealed improperly, hence the coarse grain structure and lack of toughness.

You can normally get it super cheap from a counter top company. This piece was a drop from a farm sink.

Great video! Wait... we don’t need a milling machine?!?! Sshhhhh!! I hope my wife doesn’t see that part. Lol! I did pick up a couple good tips in this episode: taking durometer measurements with my thumb, and smacking my arbor press with a mallet. You sir are a Master Maker! Once again, your overall production quality is top notch. Especially like the music choices. Nice work Austin.

Good job, I wonder if you sand blasted your small shaft where you want your belt to ride, it would track better? Not sure though, it’s just an idea.
