The material used for making notes
1. Notebook -
a. I like to keep different notebooks for different subjects, but if you like you could use a multiple subject single large notebook with larger gaps between lines OR
b. loose punched sheets that you can re-organise and punch into a folder
c. some people like to use grid paper, since it makes the whole page look more organised
d. Keep a separate notebook for practice papers and questions for each subject
2. Stationery - I recommend
a. Sharpie permanent marker
b. Three coloured pens (erasable)
c. Pencils and erasers
d. 2 comfortable pens - I like the 0.5mm pens to write with (erasable)
e. I thicker pen for headings etc. a 1.0 roller pen or a Staedler coloured pens
f. A short ruler
g. Coloured post its in different sizes
h. A set of highlighters

🔘 Taking notes in the classroom ✓ Use the outline method i.e. make a margin on the left side of the paper. • Use QAEE technique in the outline method. (Question, Answer, Evidence, Examples) Write the question on the left side of margin and other three things on the right side. ✓ Signpost Words. Always note down the words your teacher say after the following words - • First • Remember • Important • Finally ✓ Ask your teacher to make a diagram of you failed to understand anything. ✓ Leave empty spaces between your notes to add on points later on. ✓ Don't forget to carry a small pocket notebook to right down notes anytime anywhere. 🔘 Always revise and analyse your notes. Add on the points that are still on your mind. 🔘 Make effective use of bullets when you are taking notes. 🔘 You can use - ✓ Colourful Pens ✓ Colourful Highlighters ✓ Post-its (sticky notes) 🔘 Make notes in textbook ✓ Everytime you finish reading a para , write a star sentence. - A star sentence is a summary of that paragraph. ✓ Use Highlighters to highlight important points in the textbook. - Try to use different coloured Highlighters for different topic to make it feasible to understand better. ✓ Use long post aids to flash questions you need more clarification about. 🔘 Listen to audiobooks. 🔘 5 different types of effective diagrams you can make to review the content. ✓ Mind Maps ✓ Tree Diagrams ✓ Flow Charts ✓ Tables ✓ Venn Diagram 🔘 Recall the material that needs to be learnt. ✓ Flash cards - They are used to recall the information learnt. - Put Pictures on your flash cards for effective learning. - Try to use Mnemonic Devices. - Write one concept on one flash card. Don't mix up concepts. *NOTE* - I haven't included stationery items. So please cope up with them through the video :) Thanks for the likes😁❤️
