Trust me you can't charge more than 1% of battery in 10 hrs using this charger.this solar panel can't able to provide enough current to charge your phone . If you replace it with a bigger one. 7805 will heat up very badly. If you change it with a buck convertor may be you can charge your phone full in 10hrs becoz you have cut data lines . In a branded charge these lines are shorted together. You need to use a big size solar panel and use a buck convertor at the place of 7805.

Ok nice idea But it's output current is too low. It takes longer time to charge a phone.

I think using 12v solar panel with a capacitor of 16v or 25v along with the 7805 IC would be good.

It consumes more energy than charhing. good idea, but pretically more current is needed to charge the battery other case it wont accumulate

You need a diode in series. You will charge 1% phone battery in 10 hours. Trust me I've been used same solar panel.

I dont even think it can charge it. The voltage will drop instanty plus the resistance of the usb port that will limit the current...

@@ShafqatAli-jg9ym You could buy more of the same solar panel and put them in parallel. If you use 4 in parallel, then the charging time will be 4 times less time.

You could use lenses or reflectors to focus more light on the panel. It's either that or just spring for a commercial 10W charger for like 25 bucks.

If you used a boost converter it would have a higher voltage/amperage and actually would have charged your phone still cool though

Need to boost convert the solar energy with some coil and inductors.yours is so direct and will damage the phone.will take forever to fully charge the battery.but the ideas is awesome
