W video. I've been developing on-and-off for somewhere in between 2 and 3 years now. I just started developing again this summer. I am exponentially better than years ago when I would abandon my projects, start new ones, and abandon them again. Now I actually have a game I'm comfortable with and one I will never abandon until it's done. TY to TheDevKing's tutorials + Squidingz for specific types of scripts, but had this been the first video I watched a few years ago, I would be 10x better than I am now.

This is really good advice for beginners. Even when your not feeling motivated some days, just making yourself sit down and practice for about 30mins to an hour a day can really make a difference and possibly give you the motivation to do more. Taking breaks are VERY important. getting burnt out and feeling unmotivated or frustrated is the worst feeling you can get while learning to script. Allowing your mind to rest/ reset can help you think more clearly and make it easier to find solutions.
