This is awesome Mike! I have always had problems trying to find something that will work to hold those creepy little things on their hand, so this is perfect for what I need! And on a side note, if you don't like the spider version, you can always use the butterfly one 🦋

Thanks for this GREAT tip, Mike. I agree with you regarding this type of magic. There is a new[er] effect that uses a few playing cards and a small Ladybug that disappears from the cards and then appears on the back of the spectator's hand. I cannot recall the name offhand but it is a more 'gentle' approach for the same idea.

My is iPhone app but I believe it is available for other phones too. Search where you download your apps for My Friend Boris. You can pick up spiders at the party store or from Amazon or eBay and with this video you know how to make the sticky dots.

How long do these home made dots last on the label backing ? Do they dry out over time and you have to make another small batch ?

You will forget where you put them before they dry out. You'll need to apply a layer of release paper on top to keep them from sticking to things.
