Ingredients
1.5 Tablespoons of water
1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon of sugar
Oil
1/3 Cup of popcorn
30 Grams of butter

I've just got my son a popcorn maker. He loves popcorn but has problems with his teeth so was looking up how to flavour it with not as much sugar as the bought stuff.

Not really, as the syrup makes a shell around the popcorn.

I thought the same thing. Basically you're pouring sugar-water and butter on popcorn. How can it NOT be soggy? I've wasted so much time, effort, ingredients and hope on internet recipes that never turn out.
