I found this recipe because I hated how many ingredients/preservatives are in store bought bread. My toddler LOVES sandwiches and THIS specific recipe is amazing. So easy to follow. I made the first batch of bread last night, and it's toddler approved! 🎉 Never buying bread again! Thanks!!!

Saraa I tried your recipe after a few epic failures using other recipes. The first loaves were beautiful, fluffy, good rise. Dumb luck, I thought, but the second time was even better. Tonight was my third batch and I am now convinced this is the best bread recipe on the internet! Thanks so much! Who knew I would be a breadmaker?

Howdy, I cannot believe that 55K people viewed this and only 1.7K have hit the like button. You come across as someone comfortable in front of the camera, enjoys baking / cooking, and obviously are very easy on the eyes ( beautiful young lady ). I liked AND subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Have a great Christmas, spend as much time as possible with the people you love, and cherish that baby when it comes. As a dad of 2 and grandfather of 3, I can tell you that the time really does go by very fast. Take care and keep making the youtube videos.

I have avoided eating bread for about the last ten years. Then this last summer I've been spending more time at my favorite place in the world, home. Doing most of my own cooking. I started making tortillas and then bread, there is nothing better than fresh home made tortillas and bread. This video is wonderful thank you for it. Watching you slice reminded me I have something almost no home cook has, that I was going to scrap. It is a bread slicer from a bakery I remodeled years ago, I am going to put it to work. Thanks for the inspiration. It looks like i am the 411th subscriber, you need way more than that, love your videos.

My two loaves are going in the oven in about five minutes! I bought a hand crank grain mill roughly a week ago, and your recipe is my first venture in using my own hand milled flour! I am loving the process! I only made a single loaf prior to going all in and buying a Wondermill Junior Deluxe. It gives a true sense of satisfaction to create freshly baked bread using a little time and effort. Thank you for posting this video!

I cut the recipe in half and used my bread machine to mix and knead the dough and let it rise in there for bout 1 1/2 hours then transfered to a pan and let rise another 30 min before baking. Awesome recipe, thank you!

I just made this bread, I actually rushed into it and didn’t realize the recipe makes two so I made enough for four loafs! The bread came out soo good. Crunchy when toasted, I left it on a drying rack like others mentioned. 3 loaves and a batch of garlic bread sticks with this recipe. All fantastic especially for a newbie, thanks! So excited to make homemade bread from now on ❤

I was thinking the same thing as a bread baker myself (for years). It’s not a good idea either to leave your loaves sit in the pans. Remove them and set them on a cooling rack, then butter the tops.

I'm about to make this recipe and excited to try it. I thought of using honey instead of sugar as I have found it's usually less dry. But I love how she just throws it altogether without the perfect shiny g l ass bowls with fancy flowers and towels I see in most video's. Some I have made and the bread does't turn out like a magazine cover like most other video's of bread recipes being made on yt. Sometimes the bread doesn't look like the raised dough that went into the oven and the perfect loaves that came out, but this video is real with real results. I hope you make more. 😊

Thanks li'l lady. Off Topic: Years back while using my electric bread maker...using a sweet walnut bread recipe from the accompanying book; It said to add the walnuts when it beeps. I tossed in a bag of those Craisins (OS dried cranberries). It turned out great. ~ We prolly half sugars in recipes in near everything we make, so the extra sugar from dried fruit wasn't a problem. Well...traditional cranberry bread is more like cake to me. The time when the bread maker beeps to add stuffs might be tough to do by hand and get the Craisins uniform, I dunno. twas a fun bread/toast when sliced a tad thicker. tips me hat ~

Warm water, "smiles" Only time we use our tap/well water is pretty much just for pasta(s). Never from a hot water tank, well water or not. ~~~ Even if the/a HW tank was well maintained, ie; drained/flushed monthly, I ain't consuming it. We'd be nuking water from the big ol' water bubbler.
