I'm Asian, and I swear by a good steam fish... until today lol. This has been the most exciting fish recipe ever. Packed with such rich, rustic flavours and what a feast it was for the eyes too! The herb infused oil is a treasure. Could not get enough of the veggies! Simply heavenly. Will put more veggies next time. Added shallots into the oil and the fragrance was superb. The lemony sauce added such a lift to the palate! I could smell the aroma and tanginess with each bite of the fish. 600g Snapper, wiped clean by my wife and I. There was a spoonful of the heavenly oil left and I struggled so hard whether to gulp it down with some rice. Had to let it go.. too stuffed. First attempt in grilling a Snapper and thank God I chanced upon your channel! Thank you so much!!

This recipe is absolutely DELICIOUS! I didn't have a red snapper but works well with a sea bream too! I like the fact that you lay the fish on vegetables so there is no problem with the fish sticking to the dish and it is easy to turn it. Recipe recommended!

This was my first time trying Red Snapper. I followed your recipe precisely.....it was amazing! From now on I will only use herb and veggie infused EVOO to marinate, grill or pan fry my fish, meats and veggies. It's the day after I tried your grilled snapper recipe and my tummy is still happy! Thx so MUCH. Your video is a "keeper"! I shared your video with friends. My best to you!

I love red snapper, it's one of my favourite fish. I always have it fried or escovitched, but your oven grilled method is way better! It looks so delicious and packed with flavour. I was amazed watching you prepare it from start to finish. I also like how your dish is so colourful, and easy to prepare, not complicated with a lot of steps. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. The only thing additional I did was season the inside and outside with creole seasoning. I didn't have a habenero. I used four thai chilis instead only using two when blended. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! Yes, I absolutely love Haitian cuisine! I once had a chicken dish and fell completely in love! @@NanaabasKitchen You're welcome, I enjoy your videos! 😊 I'm branching out from Haitian cuisine to explore more African dishes - specifically Congolese & Nigerian ones. I did my DNA test recently & those are my biggest contributors, over 60%. It may not seem like that big of a deal to my cousins born on the continent, but when you've spent most of your life not knowing exactly where your ancestors are from in Africa - it's so freeing to find out! I still feel like I'm floating when I think about it. 😌 I'm still learning about new dishes from my mom, but my favorite one is a simple, comfort meal my mom would make for me as a child. She would boil sweet potatoes (similar to the Japanese sweet potato) in milk, with a stick of cinnamon & star anise. Always puts a smile on my face.😌

@@NanaabasKitchen You're welcome again. I have made shito, getting tips from your video & other Ghanaians. Not a fan of snapper so tried this with hog fish, absolutely delightful!!!! Topped it off with some coconut rice. Fish was flaky, juicy and very tasty. The taste of the fish was exemplified! Family said it was one of the best baked fish they've tasted!! My new go to recipe for baked fish!! On behalf of the people of Belize, I approve this recipe!
