You can see the small oil that came out from that many coconut and that is why l cannot buy coconut oil, l do rather do it myself bc almost every seller of coconut oil mix it so you can't get 100% original coconut oil.

Do you know that nothing is waisted from the coconut? You can add sugar to the part you sieved from the oil and keep on cooking until it turns brown to become coconut toffee, it is delicious and children love it. You can make drinking cups from the shell of the coconut if sawed neatly into two and sandpapered. You can ground the husk (off the shell) and use it to improve the soil for farming. "Igi owo ni igi agbon lehin igi ope." May you be greatly enriched.

Auntie, thank you for these videos. Even your patience waiting for the food to cook, today (Western world) we don't even have time to cook in length as this, so really good to see the time and effort. And yes, even the water can be used and some of the cream for rice and peas ( a Caribbean dish), no waste. I watched your video on Ewa Agoyin stew🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏽😊.

My grandma used to make coconut oil. I never realized how many coconut it took to make that amount of oil. I can now understand why it so pricey, and I appreciate it very much. You’re saying it’s easy, but it takes some effort to do. Thank you for sharing this video. Grandma used to add a little brown sugar to the residue from the oil. It made a very delicious snack. Wishing you success with your videos. God’s blessings to you and your family.❤

Leah, I watch your Anti-cancer Soursop juice and share; if you grater the coconuts, wash in water (juice with appropriate cloth), it probable will yield much more oil. Use the material like what they packed garlic (5 head). It is a very fine mesh material. Grand-parent use to do this for ALL round uses - hair, skin and cooking - callaloo with saltfish; it nice!!!!!!! You could yam crushed in coconut oil. You can get approximately 65% more oil if you had juice the coconuts 2 more times with 65% less water each time you juice. It is also possible is you had used wood - coal to boil the entire liquid; that it what my grand parent do and it yield 1 pint bottle of oil with less than 7 coconuts. I presumed the water after you had skim the cream is used to make peas-soup, stew-peas, corn porridge etc..... Do not throw away the custard - it is nice with roast plantain, yam, banana, salt fish, mackerel, red herrings etc... To mix the oil - flavour it; boil it with cinnamon leave or sick, rosemary - but you can extract those flavour in the oil later by using the same coconut oil to stir fry the herbs - infuse flavour oil!!!
