Thanks for this one!! I like the snake knot but this is sooo much easier. I just made it with electric blue and imperial red. Beautiful colors together. This was super easy.

If you don't want to finish it with a Solomon knot (square knot/ cobra knot) you could use some pliers or paracord fids to run the two working ends (the leftover cord) back through the corkscrew knot.

@KokoandFooFoo
@KokoandFooFoo 7 жыл бұрын
At first, this video was slightly confusing and I wasn't sure if I was doing it correctly because the pattern didn't look correct but if you follow each step exactly as shown, your bracelet will turn out fine. I did mine perfectly on the first try and used black and grey paracord on mine. I do recommend that you use a paracord bracelet jig because it will make it much easier to braid.

Maybe try the cobra weave as your first paracord bracelet. I'm not kidding. This is fun but the cobra is the best warm-up.

Love your vids chap, very informative! would it be possible to give a rough "ball-Park" figure with each type of knot for chord required : length of finished item please? trying to reduce waste as much as possible :-)
@perri_6
@perri_6 3 жыл бұрын
Perhaps you could begin knotting a short segment then unravel it to see how much cord was used. Once you know, you can multiply this number by your desired length. Of course you will add more length for the closure.

Collapsed it slides smoothly along the rope stretched out it acts like a Chinese finger lock. We used these in place of jumar's as they did not damage kern & mantle of the ropes under high tension. He says at the start, it's 12 feet in total - 6 of red, 6 of black, fused together at one end. 1 foot = just over 30 cm, so 6 feet = about 182 cm, 12 feet = about 365 cm altogether.
