Great idea using basal and garlic in the oil to prep the griddle, I;ll be using that alot and I'll bet it works with all the fish on the griddle for added flavor. Really like this recipe combination.

My favorite things to cook on my Blackstone griddle are scallops, vegetables and hamburgers so far! I used to like cooking my scallops in a cast iron skillet but they just don't seem to come out brown enough than they do on my Blackstone griddle. I almost forgot I love making scrambled eggs on it as well.

Olives, capers, and Scallops???? I'm surprised C.J. didn't completely MELT DOWN. Dig the heck out of that cutting board! You're gonna miss the Anchovy... O.k., A one of these comments was in jest, guess which one. This one, isn't. Next you make this, when flavoring your oil, toss a couple of the capers in, they are amazing fried, learned that one from Jacques Pepin, and don't discard them, I might toss them in as a garnish. Nice Cook Thanks!!!!🤤🤤🤤

I hate to be a downer, but during my time in the Air Force, I was a public health inspector and taught food handler training. Unless you edited out repeated glove changes, you thoroughly cross-contaminated that meal by alternately handling raw seafood and fresh produce that would never be cooked. That would've been an automatic "Unsat" if observed during an inspection.
